The inter-club player transfers for the Premier Division Hockey League have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons, the Bangladesh Hockey Federation said on Saturday.
The transfer window was scheduled to open on Tuesday, despite uncertainties over the participation of some top clubs. The BHF had earlier vowed to maintain the schedule and threatened that if any club does not participate it will face relegation.
It may be mentioned that six clubs, including the popular Mohammedan Sporting Club, maintained their position of boycotting all activities under the present elected committee.
The BHF said that it will announce a fresh transfer schedule on November 2 after a meeting of its governing body.
