The two-day long Habhit Cup golf tournament concluded at Ghatail Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment Golf Course in Tangail on Saturday. The tournament was sponsored by Habhit Tangail.
A total of 70 players, including eight women golfers, from different golf clubs in the country took part in the competition. The tournament was inaugurated on Friday by Major General Shafiqur Rahman, who later distributed prizes among the participants on Saturday.
Akib became champion while Major Mohammad Humayun Kabir was the runners up. Neel Master was the winner among junior golfers while Neela Aziz claimed the women’s crown.
Eight other golfers were awarded in different categories.
