Zimbabwe stand with their last chance to pull off a consolation win when they face Bangladesh in the fifth and final one-day international in Dhaka today.
Zimbabwe are still winless in the tour having lost the Test series 0-3 before defeats in all four ODIs they played so far. Batsman Hamilton Masakadza, who shone on few occasions during the series only to end up as loser, said they will give one more try to end the tour with some consolation.
‘I think we got a few games where we have been really in game,’ he said. ‘We were outplayed in a couple of games but in the other two, we came up with something.’
‘We didn’t pull it through in the end. I think the boys still have it in them,’ said Masakadza.
‘It’s just a question of getting both disciplines right on the day, because most of the time we had one side working and the other side not working,’ he said.
‘When we bowled well we batted badly, when we batted badly we bowled well. I think if we can get into a position where we can push through the end then we can come through,’ he added.
