Alec Baldwin is defending himself as the FBI wraps up its investigation into the shooting of Helena Hutchins.
When he unintentionally fired on the cinematographer, the actor told journalist Chris Cuomo that the biggest shouts against him were “not even on set.”
He told the host: “I know every single person on the set of the film knows what happened, and the people who were talking loudly about what happened or speculating about what happened, they Was not on the set of the film.
Adding to various US media outlets, Alec said: “They’ve been talking about what would happen and what would happen and have dined on it and what they had in common was no one. Somebody who was there, they know exactly what happened. They know exactly who is to blame.”
The interview comes after the conclusion of the FBI’s report that the gun could not be fired until ‘the trigger was pulled’.
The FBI assessment concluded that the gun could not be discharged until “the trigger was pulled” before the interview.
