The first satellite channel for kids in Bangladesh, Duronto TV, has completed five years of broadcasting its innovative children’s shows. On this day, October 5 of 2017, the channel began its journey to becoming the nation’s favourite channel for kids.
The channel celebrated this milestone by arranging a programme at their office. Employees, guests and child artistes from their shows were present to commemorate the occasion.
From its inception, Duronto TV’s motto has been to create a sanctuary for children where they can spread their wings of imagination and be creative without any inhibitions.
A day with Duronto TV kicks off with the National Anthem at 7:00 am, followed by several cartoon shows dubbed in Bangla. Their wide variety of shows ranging from puppet shows, lifestyle shows, magic shows and shows on painting, singing, dancing, crafting, storytelling, travelling, language and science, to physical exercise as well as shows on self-defense training— all of these have become a regular part of every Bangladeshi household.
After completing five years of entertaining the children of Bangladesh, Duronto promises to deliver more creative shows which will embrace and inspire the imagination of children.
