The final match of the Inter-Departmental Handball Competition-2023 was held at Gono Bishwabidyalay.
In the girls’ event, the politics and administration department defeated the sociology and social work department with a margin of 12-11 goals in the final match on the university playground on Wednesday.
In the boys’ handball final, the Department of Politics and Administration won the championship by defeating the faculty of veterinary and animal sciences 3-2.
On the day, a friendly match was held between teachers and staff. GB vice-chancellor Md Abul Hossain distributed prizes to the winners.
Registrar S Tasaddek Ahmed and president of sports committee Md Rafiqul Alam along with deans of faculties were present on the occasion, said a press release.
