Anisur Rahman, a resident of Uttarkhan, Dhaka, became the first lucky winner of a brand-new car under Marcel’s Digital Campaign Season-21, after purchasing a Marcel refrigerator.
This campaign offers customers a chance to win a free car or assured gifts with the purchase of Marcel refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and ceiling fans, running until 31 December 2024.
The car was handed over to Anisur at a ceremony held in Azampur Kachabazar. Popular film actor and Marcel Brand Ambassador Amin Khan presented the car to Anisur in the presence of Matiur Rahman, Head of Business at Marcel, and other company executives, including Zoheb Ahmed, Deputy Chief Marketing Officer; Qudrat E Khuda and Nurul Islam Rubel, Marcel Distributor Network in-charges; Uddam Hossain Mridha, Brand Manager; and local businessman Harunur Rashid.
Anisur, who runs a biryani hotel in Uttara Chairman Bazar, purchased the refrigerator from MH Electronics on 2 November 2024. Upon digital registration of his purchase, he received an SMS notification declaring him the winner of the car.
Expressing his delight, Anisur said, “I was astonished to win a car simply by buying a refrigerator. I’m grateful to Marcel for this incredible benefit.”
Speaking at the event, Matiur Rahman highlighted Marcel’s commitment to delivering international-standard electronics while offering exceptional benefits to customers. “Marcel is not just a business; we aim to contribute to the socio-economic development and improved living standards of our people,” he stated.
Actor Amin Khan encouraged consumers to buy locally made products, saying, “Using home-made goods helps strengthen our economy by keeping money within the country.”
