Popular Rabindra Sangeet singer Adity Mohsin presented an array of Tagore songs in solo musical programme on Saturday at the
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Banani.
The Shantiniketan trained Rabindra Sangeet singer Adity Mohsin entertained the audience presenting one after another popular
numbers in her distinctive style.The show began with a soulful presentation of a popular mystic song Anandodhara bohichhe bhubone.
The skillful singer could attract the attention of the listeners even presenting frequently sung Tagore songs such as Sedin dujone, Kon sudur hotey and Sarthak janamo amar.
And the sentimental Tagore numbers like Aji jharer ratey, Morono rey got unique tone in Adity’s soothing melancholic voice.
A different ambience was created as the singer rendered sweet romantic songs such as Tomai gaan sonabo and Bhalobeshe sakhi.
The houseful audience also enjoyed her presentation of raga based Tagore songs such as Ratri ese jethai meshe and Bipulo taranga rey.
