The Board of Directors of Eastern Bank has extended the service contract of its managing director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar for a further period of three years, said a press release.
Ali Reza joined the bank in 2004 as a deputy managing director and
assumed the office of the MD and CEO in 2007.Iftekhar started his career with BCCI Overseas Bangladesh in 1985 as a probationary officer and went on to work for Banque Indosuez and Standard Chartered Bank in various capacities both at home and abroad.
