Very well-deserved if we may say so!

Alia Bhatt, a well-known international actress was presented with TIME Magazine’s TIME100 Impact Award during an evening ceremony at the National Gallery Singapore today.
The TIME100 Impact Award recognizes visionaries who have gone above and beyond to make a difference and advance their respective industries. The awards debuted in Dubai earlier this year and reconvened today in Singapore, followed by a viewer party for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
Alia said of the award: Thank you TIME for this honor. To receive this award tonight from some of the best people in the world feels wonderfully overwhelming. When my journey as an actor began ten years ago, all I could think about was how I would one day take over the world. I wanted to be perfect and I wanted everyone to know.
She added, “But if it falls to me in any way to lead by example, be a role model or make any kind of impact, it is something I want to do in as human, as flawed, a way as possible. Because in the movies and in life, you do not have to be perfect; you just have to bring everything you have – the lows, the highs and the real things we are afraid of speaking about. There is no greater impact than being yourself.”
Bhatt is making her debut in Hollywood with Heart Of Stone, which will be released worldwide via Netflix next year. The multi-award-winning talent will star alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in BAFTA-nominated director Tom Harper’s next feature film.
Bhatt is one of India’s biggest movie stars with over 100 million social media followers, 71.2 million on Instagram alone. In her illustrious career, Bhatt has bagged four FilmFare awards so far.
