Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rues the fact that she has to leave many good films because she is mostly spoilt for choice. She adds often some very good films come her way after she has given her dates for a particular project and she has to let them go.
“I get offered some really good films. I’m spoilt for choice and it so happens that when I agree to do a project and block my dates for that. Then some good projects come my way. I unfortunately cannot take up because the dates clash with the ones which I had already allotted to other films. I quite have a history of missing many good films but I have done some very good ones too. That’s a solace,” says Aishwarya.
She further says, “I feel really fortunate that people approach me with such films. I want to be a part of good films be it Indian or Hollywood films. I don’t really take much time in selecting a film. If I like it, I take it up.”
Ash adds that with films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next with Hrithik Roshan, Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming venture that has her hubby Abhishek Bachchan in it and the Rajnikanth starrer Endhiran — a sci-fi film directed by S Shankar — she has her plate full for the next couple of years.
“I have no time at all now. I’m doing these films and all of them are so diverse from each other that I’m really happy with the work that I’m doing. All these films need me to be at many places, travel a lot. I don’t think I will have much time for anything else. I’m also looking forward to the release of my Hollywood film The Pink Panther,” she ends.
