The Rajshahi city rights activists formed a human chain on Monday and called for a social movement to stop violence and sexual harassment against women and female children.
The speakers have urged to build social resistance to stop the violence against women and also demanded implementation of the National Women Development Policy.
The Action for Community Development, a non government development organisation, organised the human chain at Shaheb Bazar Zero point of the city at about 12.00pm, marking the Ending Torture against Women Day.
