The All Nepal Football Association has agreed to send their Under-23 national team to play two exhibition matches against their Bangladeshi counterparts in the last week of August, said a BFF official on Wednesday. The Bangladesh Football Federation sent a letter to the ANFA on Monday asking it to send a team to play an exhibition match as part of their preparation for the forthcoming Asian Games, and they got the reply on Wednesday.
‘Nepal has agreed to send their Under-23 team to play two exhibition matches on August 25 and 28 but we will decide on how many matches we will play against them,’ said Abu Naeem Sohag, general secretary of the BFF, on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the BFF’s national team management committee will meet with national team coach Lodewijk de Kruif on August 17 to draw up the future planning and will decide whether they will travel to Malaysia to play another practice match before the Asian Games.
The Bangladesh national football team will play a practice match against the Bangladesh Army football team at the Army Stadium at 4:30pm today.
