On August 11, Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine doses will be administered to children aged 5-11 as part of a trial in Dhaka, Minister for Health and Family Planning Zahid Maleque said on Sunday.
At the World Breastfeeding Week opening ceremony at the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (Nipsom) auditorium in Mohakhali, Dhaka, the minister announced that after the trial run, the full-fledged vaccination program for kids will begin on August 26.

In order to get their children immunized, the parents must register on the Surokkha app, according to the health minister.
Bangladesh has already received WHO approval to immunize children between the ages of five and twelve.
