Bangladesh women’s team will play a total of 50 matches over the course of the next three years, according to the first women’s Future Tour Plan [FTP] released by the International Cricket Council on Tuesday.
10 international women’s teams will play 301 games during the 2022–2025 FTP cycle. In the cycle, Bangladesh will play 50 matches in a mix of ODIs and T20Is.
The Bangladesh women’s cricket team will tour New Zealand this year for three ODIs and as many T20Is to kick off the FTP.
Bangladesh will visit Sri Lanka in 2023 for a three-match T20I series and three one-day internationals.
In middle of the year, the women’s team will host India for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
Bangladesh will host Pakistan for the same number of matches as India In October-November.
After that, Bangladesh will go to South Africa to compete in three ODI matches and then three T20 Internationals.
The women in red and green in year 2024 will host Australia for three ODIs and as many T20Is and then host Ireland for three ODIs and five T20Is.
The Bangladesh women’s team will trip the West Indies to play three ODIs and a three-game T20I series as part of their final FTP series.
The three-match ODI series will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
Along with the hosts, India, the top five teams in the event will directly qualify for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
