Bangladesh’s Grand Master Abdullah al Rakib finished 27th with five points from nine matches in the Asian Continental Chess Championship-2015 that ended at Al-Ain in United Arab Emirate on Tuesday.
GM Enamul Hossain Rajib became 43rd with 4.5 points while GM Ziaur Rahman became 59th with 4 points. In women’s section, Bangladesh’s Women International Master Shamima Akter Liza became 34th with 4 points.
United Arab Emirate GM Salem AR Saleh became champion with 6.5 points in men’s section and Iranian WIM Hejazipour Mitra became champion in women section with 7 points.
