Banglalink, one of the leading mobile telecom operators in the country, launched commercially 3G services in Khulna on Wednesday. The announcement came at a press conference ogranised by the company at City inn Hotel in Khulna, said a news release.
Khulna City Corporation mayor Moniruzzman Moni was present in the press conference as chief guest. Later he inaugurated a rally.
Banglalink regional commercial head-Khulna Md Babul Haque was also present, among others.
Banglalink started its 3G journey commercially from October 10 this year and within a short time the company launched 3G services in the important areas of Dhaka and Chittagong, the release said.
