The first conference of branch and operational managers of the BASIC Bank Limited was held in Dhaka Saturday.
The bank’s chairman Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu appreciated the efforts of the officials in making an operating profit of Tk 215 crore in the year 2010.
He stressed on selection of potential borrowers and urged all the executives to keep close supervision and monitoring for keeping classified loans at the minimum level.
The bank’s acting managing director Sk Monzur Morshed presided over the conference attended, among others, by the directors including Jahangir Akhand Salim, Shubhashish Bose, Neelufar Ahmed, Shakhawat Hossain, Kazi Akhtar Hossain, Md Fakhrul Islam and Md Anwarul Islam.
The executives and the branch in-charge of BASIC Bank branches around the country reviewed the annual business performance during 2010 and took an action plan for strengthening the operational activities in 2011.
