The Bangladesh Cricket Board and Aamra Networks Limited inked a three-year deal on Wednesday, ensuring that the IT solutions firm will remain as the BCB’s official ISP partner until December 31, 2015.
Under the new agreement, Aamra’s services will include providing dedicated high speed connectivity to BCB sites and furnishing the BCB media centres with computer equipment during tournaments.
‘Aamra Networks Limited has been a longstanding and trusted partner of the BCB. We are really appreciative of the quality of support we have received over the years from Aamra,’ said Nizamuddin Chowdhury, the BCB’s acting CEO.
‘As Aamra Networks has done in the past, we will continue to provide more than what is there in the
agreement whenever the need arises,’ said Aamra Companies COO Sharful Alam, adding that the new deal includes services for the BCB’s first class competitions.
‘It is a privilege to work with the BCB and contribute to the most popular sport in the country,’ said Muntasir Ahmed, Aamra’s senior manager for branding.
Aamra has been the BCB’s internet partner since 2004.
