The audit report of Bangladesh Football Federation for the year 2015 was approved at its Annual General Meeting at a city hotel on Saturday.
The estimated budget for the year 2016 was also approved at the AGM. The total income of BFF in 2015 was around Tk 31 crore while the expenditure was around Tk 34 crore.
‘The audit report for 2015 and estimated budget of 2016 were approved with the presence of every delegate in the AGM,’ said BFF’s senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy.
‘There were few observations but no disagreement,’ said Murshedy, who was elected as the senior vice-president unopposed for the third consecutive time.
Delegates raised a question over Tk eight crore fixed loan, which was borrowed from IFIC bank to organise the international friendly between Argentina and Nigerian in 2011.
The loan is still due and some councilors recently questioned about who will take the responsibility of the money.
‘The sponsor organisations took the loan and they are responsible for this. The forthcoming elected body will not take the responsibility,’ Salam added.
