Sadharan Bima picked up a come-from-behind 5-1 win against Azad Sporting in their Premier Hockey League match at the Moulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
Bima scored all their goals in the second half after Azad enjoyed the lead in the break thanks to Tahmid Haque’s third minute goal. Ziaur Rahman, Mamun Mortaza, Shamim Miah, Mohsin Billah and Faisal netted one goal apiece for the victors.
In the other match of the day, Sonali Bank SRC made a 4-3 win over Ajax Sporting Club as Rabbi Salehin netting twice while Ajit Kumar and Towsif Ahmed added a goal each for Sonali Bank.
Rahat Sarwar scored a brace for Ajax and Shahidul Islam scored the other.
