Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation clinched the National Women’s Football Championship title with a huge 7-1 win over last year’s champions Mymensingh at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Thursday. National striking pair Sabina Khatun and Ishrat Jahan Swapna scored four and three goals respectively for the winners. The girls of Mymensingh, mostly comprised with the students of Kalsindur High School under Dhobaura Upazila, had been impressive throughout the tournament but national strikers Sabina and Swapna made them helpless with their predatory stints.
