BNP standing committee member MK Anwar on Wednesday said the opposition will not join any election under an administration to be headed by any political leader. “We want to clearly state that BNP won’t participate in any polls under an election-time government that will
be headed by a party leader,” he told a discussion.Bangladesh Youth Forum, a pro-BNP platform, arranged the programme at the National Press club marking the 32nd death anniversary of BNP founder and former President Ziaur Rahman.
Anwar said the ruling Awami League is trying to hold the next general election under its own administration defying the opinions of the country’s 90 percent people. “But people won’t allow them to materialise their daydream.”
