The Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corpora-tion on Sunday launched a five-day quarterly exhibition at the BSCIC building in Dhaka.
The design centre of the corporation is holding exhibition called Hemanta Mela.
The industries minister, Dilip Barua, inaugurated the exhibition. He also distributed certificates among the trainees on completion of a three-month training course at the corporation in a programme in the BSCIC auditorium.
The BSCIC chairman, Fakhrul Islam, presided over the programme.
One hundred and forty-seven trainees, who have this year received training in block, batik, handicraft, packaging, jute and leather product manufacturing, have joined the exhibition.
There are 60 stalls in the fair.
