The Bangladesh Sports Press Association on Wednesday announced that it will honour country’s top female athletes, who won gold medals in different international meets in the past.
Under the title of ‘Krirangoner Adamya Nari’, sponsored by Unilever Bangladesh Limited, the BSPA will accord a reception to the athletes at National Sports Council Auditorium on Saturday.
A total of 18 female athletes have been selected for the reception. Of them, 15 female athletes are expected to remain present during the programme while three others are living in aboard.
The BSPA will also give a life time achievement award to Women International Naster Rani Hamid for her contribution to country’s chess.
