BTI (Building Technology and Ideas) on Saturday said it is constructing country’s one of the largest building projects in the city, which will accommodate at least 117 houses and shopping complex with modern architectural design.
BTI is implementing the project styled Premier Plaza on 400,000 square feet land area at Rokeya Sarani, near Baridhara in the city. BTI said this at a press conference held at its office in the city.
BTI, country’s one of the old realtors, has completed foundation work of the project at a cost of Tk 250 million. BTI, which so far sold more than 2000 apartments since 1984, said the tentative time for completion of the project is December 2012.
Addressing the press conference, head of design and development of the BTI Rumana Malik said: the project comprises five towers with first three floors to be furnished for shopping complex.”
She also said the towers will have helipad for emergency usage.
Officials at the BTI said they are now selling each square foot of apartment at Tk 5200.
“We are offering a diamond ring for the potential buyers, who will buy apartment by March 31 this year,” BTI Managing Director Arshi Haider said. The sizes of apartments in the project ranged between 1000 square feet and 2300 square feet.
BTI, which is now constructing housing projects in Dhaka and Chittagong, said it will launch such big projects at Comilla, Sylhet and other major cities to provide competitive and modern housing units to buyers. BTI Chief Operating Officer Ahsanul Hoque, its Executive Director Kazi Md Zobaed and senior officials were present at the press conference.
