The reunion of Buet Alumni Federation was held amid much enthusiasm among the former students on the university campus yesterday.
Industries Minister Dilip Barua inaugurated the programme at the central playground of Buet (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology).
At the opening session, Barua said universities are the core places for exercising knowledge in a country.
Speaking as the special guest, Science and ICT Minister Yafes Osman said a person can do many work if he or she has will enough to do that.
Buet Vice-chancellor (VC) Prof SM Nazrul Islam presided over the discussion. State Minister for Power Enamul Haque and Buet Pro-VC Prof M Habibur Rahman also spoke.
