A team of three students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology has won the 2nd prize in the contest, ‘Imagine a City of Tomorrow’, at the final round held in Paris last month.
The team of Tasnim Firoz Ananya, Kashfia Nehrin and Tasfia Tasnim of Urban and Regional Planning Department of BUET secured the prize worth 1500 Euro for their project ‘Starlet’, which was aimed at the planning of an energy efficient redesigning of BUET campus.
A total of 170 teams from across the world took part in the competition, organised by Studyka, a Paris-based organisation, said BUET press release.
