Canada will provide a grant of two million Canadian dollars to the ICDDR, B to improve the knowledge of mothers and field staff in treating malnourished rural children.
The ICDDR, B has been nominated for a scale-up grant of up to $2 million by Grand Challenges Canada, funded by the government of Canada, said a press release of
Canadian high commission yesterday.
It is one of 14 creative new ideas for improving the early brain development of children in developing countries being funded worldwide with CDN $10.1 million (US
$9.75 million) under the “Saving Brains” project of Grand Challenges Canada.
