JAN Associates, distributor of Canon cameras in Bangladesh, launched a special World Cup programme to promote the product in the country, said a press release on Thursday. Their programme includes Special World Cup Quiz, Road Shows and discounts on selected models of Canon cameras. Abdullah H Kafi, the managing director of JAN Associates, expressed his delight during the launching ceremony saying: ‘Canon traditionally has strong relationship with sports. We are very happy to celebrate the World Cup Cricket 2011 with all the people of Bangladesh. We are pleased to see that Canon cameras are being used by the photo journalists of the leading newspapers in the country to capture the magical moments of World Cup Cricket,’ he said.
