A private museum named ‘Bangalee Shamagra’ is going to inaugurate a canvas today in the capital depicting significant events between 1952 and 1971.
The planning minister, AK Khandokar, is expected to unveil the 25-feet canvas at the museum office on Elephant Road, a press release said.Dhaka University history professor Syed Anwar Hossain is expected to deliver the welcome speech in the inauguration programme, the release said.
Literature Rashid Haider is expected to participate in the discussion on ‘liberation war in our literature’.
Prominent artists of the country depicted the canvas through the last year with the historical events from 1952 to 1971.
