Satellite TV channel CHANNEL9 has secured the sole broadcasting TV rights in Bangladesh for the Asia Cup 2014 from February 25 to March 8.
The announcement was made by CHANNEL9 managing director Enaytur Rahman at the Spectra Convention Centre in Dhaka at a press conference on Wednesday.He also said that CHANNEL9 was also willing to telecast live local and international football matches in the future.
CHANNEL9 is also the official broadcasting partner of the Bangladesh Premier League and has previously broadcast the Bangladesh-Zimbabwe-South Africa Twenty20 tri-series in Zimbabwe, the Bangladesh-West Indies cricket series and IPL matches.
