Two-day long Shishu Ananda Mela ended at deputy commissioner’s office premises in Manikganj on Sunday through colourful programmes.
The programmes included cultural competitions, cultural function, discussion and prize giving ceremony among the
winners of the cultural competitions.
Hundreds of students from deferent primary and high schools of the district took part in the art, recitation, drama and song competitions in two groups. The art competition was held on Monday afternoon after Manikganj deputy commissioner Md. Masud Karim formally inaugurated the two-day-long fair for the children.
The discussion and prize giving ceremony was held on Monday evening after completing the dance, song, and drama, poetry recitation competitions.
