Citi Asia Pacific chief executive officer Stephen Bird arrived in Dhaka Saturday on an official visit. During his visit, Stephen is scheduled to attend the final awards ceremony of the Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards programme, currently into its 8th year, inaugurate Citi Bangladesh’s new corporate office in Dhaka, and meet key clients, stakeholders, regulators and Citi employees. A graduate of University College Cardiff who has an MBA in economics and finance, Stephen is a member of the Citi Global Operating Committee.
He joined Citi in 1998 in Singapore as the Asia Pacific head for operations and technology.
