A construction worker was electrocuted while another died after
falling from a high-rise in the capital on Friday.
At Adabar, a construction worker died after he came in touch with a live electric wire when working with iron rods in front of the under-constriction building at about 8:00am.
The deceased, Gazi Ahmed, 30, used to work at house 14, road 18 of Monsurabad Housing of Adabar.
Co-worker rushed him to DMCH where doctors declared him dead at about 10:00am.
Adabar police recovered the body and sent it to the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
At New Market, another construction worker died after he fell from a high-rise Thursday night.
The deceased, Nizam Hossain, 25, was from Khasmahal at Rangabari in Patuakhali.
Nizam sustained severe injures after he had fallen from the 3rd floor of a 10-storey under-constriction building on old Elephant Road.
He was rushed to DMCH where doctors declared him dead at about 1:00am on Friday.
