A gang of criminals attacked a schoolgirl and slit different parts of her body with razor blades in Parnaogaon area of the district town of Naogaon yesterday.
The victim Asha Alamgir Mili, 13, daughter of Alamgir Hossain of Parnaogaon area, is a class seven student of Naogaon Government Girls High School.
On contact, Officer-in-Charge Aminul Islam of Naogaon Sadar Police Station said the reason behind the attack was not known immediately but Mili told police that a local youth used to harass her a few months ago.
Police said a gang of criminals wearing black masks attacked Mili on her way home from school and slit different parts of her body including her throat, forehead, chest and hands with razor blades.
Milli has been admitted to a local clinic of the area, police added.
No case was filed in this connection till filing of this report.
