A student of Chittagong University was found dead in his residence in the port city on Sunday.
The family of the deceased claimed that it was an incident of suicide while police found no sign of such act.
The deceased is Tasfia Tarannum, a first year student of law department under Chittagong University, also daughter of Monjurur Rahman of Purba Madarbari under Sadarghat thana in the port city.
Police recovered the body of Tarannum in her residence in Purba Madarbari at 9:00am on Sunday.
