An international seminar on Computational Materials Study and Process of Higher Study in Japan was organised by the physics department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology.
CUET vice-chancellor (in-charge) and Faculty of Civil Engineering dean Md Moinul Islam was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the seminar held in the academic council room of the university on Thursday.
Papers were presented at the seminar by professor Ryo Maezono, associate professor Kenta Hongo and assistant professor Tomohiro Ichibha of the Advanced Institute of Science and Technology of Japan.
Faculty of Engineering and Technology dean Sunil Dhar was special guest at the seminar presided over by physics department head Swapon Kumar Roy. Physics Department assistant professor Md Muktar Hossain presented welcome speech on the research work of CUET’S ACMRL Lab. The programme was conducted by physics department professor Md Mahi Uddin, said a press release.
