This year’s Dakhil examinations, equivalent to the Secondary School Certificate examinations, are likely to begin on June 19 and Alim examinations, equivalent to the Higher Secondary Certificate examinations, are likely to begin on August 22.
Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board revealed the dates through separate releases published on its website on March 1 and March 2.
The Dakhil examinees will have to take examinations on all but three to four subjects based on groups.
The Alim examinees will have to take examinations on all but one to three subjects based on groups, the releases said.
Evaluation will be made on these three to four subjects in Dakhil and one to three subjects in Alim through subject mapping.
Both the examinations will be held in revised syllabuses and in two-hour time instead of three hours.
This year, instead of test examinations, the Dakhil and Alim examinees will have to take preparatory examinations after filling up forms.
Subject mapping will be used in Dakhil examinations to evaluate two papers of Arabic and Information and Communication Technology subjects for general, two papers of Arabic and Aqaid and Fiqh subjects for science, two papers of Arabic, Information and Communication Technology and Kirate Tartil and Hadar subjects for Mujabbid and two papers of Arabic, information and communication technology and Hifzul Quran Daor subjects for Hifzul Quran groups.
In case of Alim examinations subject mapping will be used to evaluate Information and Communication Technology subject for general and Mujabbid Mahir and Al Fiqh 1st paper, Arabic literature and Information and Communication Technology subjects for science groups.
According to the releases, the probable date for starting form fill up by all Dakhil candidates with registration numbers is April 13.
The process of filling up forms will be completed online.
The probable date for starting preparatory examinations of Dakhil candidates has been fixed May 19.
As for Alim examinations, the probable date for starting form fill up by all candidates with registration numbers online only has been fixed June 8.
The probable date for starting preparatory examinations of HSC candidates has been fixed July 14.
Earlier the Dhaka Education Board revealed the probable dates for beginning this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations from June 19 and HSC and equivalent examinations from August 22.
In November 2021, SSC exams were held, and in December 2021, HSC exams were held with a gap of one year.
