US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan Mozena yesterday greeted Bangladeshis on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a message, he said this is a special time for the people of Bangladesh and throughout the global community as families and friends come together to reflect upon the spirit of
the holy month of Ramadan and Eid, peace and sacrifice.
In separate messages, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Foreign Secretary William Hague and Foreign Office Minister Baroness Warsi also greeted the Muslims in the UK and overseas on Eid.
David said after a month long fasting, praying and putting aside many of the essential things, Muslims will come together with friends and family to celebrate the occasion.
