Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL) has launched its 1000th ATM at the factory premises of the GlaxcoSmithKline Bangladesh Ltd., Fouzderhat Industrial Area, Chittagong. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board inaugurated the 1000th ATM by drawing money from the ATM using DBBL Nexus Card on Sunday. The Chairman in his speech extended his thanks and gratitude to the authority of GlaxcoSmithKline for giving the Bank an opportunity to serve their employees as well as other customers of the company.
Among others, M Azizul Huq, Managing Director and Sarwar Azam Khan, Finance Director of GlaxcoSmithKline Bangladesh and other senior officials of both the organizations were present in the inaugural ceremony. M Azizul Huq appreciated the innovative and incomparable initiatives taken by DBBL for the benefit of the customers. He also thanked DBBL for installing ATMs at the factory premises of GlaxcoSmithKline Bangladesh Ltd.
Sayem Ahmed also inaugurated the 50th Fast Track at CDA Avenue on the same day in the port city. While exchanging views at the inaugural ceremony, Sayem mentioned that DBBL has already installed 42 units of Fast Track at Dhaka, 5 Fast Track at Sylhet and 3 Fast Track at Chittagong. Each of the Fast Track consists of 5-14 ATMs and 1-5 deposit machines where customers can make transactions for withdrawal and deposit of money.
