The district football league committee decided after a discussion meeting with the full contingent of the divisional football association presidents that they will organise the DFA Club Championship where all the district champion clubs will take part and the tournament will begin from August 20.
In presence of Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin, the district league committee met with the division’s representatives at the BFF house on Wednesday.
After receiving assurances from the BFF, many DFAs already set up their league and most of them will finish their league before August.
The BFF has already started inviting the entire districts to issue their champion team’s name.
The district football league committee is planning to organise the preliminary round of the tournament in nine different zones with the final round set to be held in Dhaka.
