DHAKA Comicon, Bangladesh’s first-ever comic book convention, begins today.
The two-day event is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
The event includes live art competition, short film competition, action figure photography competition, artist corner collectors’ exhibitions, gaming events, superhero comedy live performances and cosplay competition.
According to the organisers, the programme will be held at Level 5 of Jamuna Future Park.
On the opening day, music video of a recently composed song titled ‘Akromon’ by prominent band Cryptic Fate will be launched.
Saadi Rahman and Syed Abu Yousuf, two young comic lovers, are the organisers of the exclusive event. This year ice cream brand ‘Kwality’ is sponsoring the event and New Age is the media partner.
