The festival on traditional Dhaka food started yesterday to conclude the celebration of the 400th year of Dhaka as capital.
Dhaka Kendra and Spellbound jointly organised it on a Kalabagan sporting club ground with the assistance of city group, says a press release.
The festival titled “City Group Taste of Dhaka 2010” has been arranged to keep up the historic tradition of Dhaka. Around 50 famous restaurants of Dhaka city is participating in it.
State Minister for Law Mohammad Kamrul Islam, Dhaka University professor Muntasir Mamun, and Asma Zerin Jhumu, MP spoke at the inaugural ceremony among others.
The festival will be open for all today and tomorrow from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
