Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will be available in an interactive web platform from this year, showcasing the participating companies.
The month-long 16th DITF-2011, organised by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the Ministry of Commerce, starts on January 1 at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka.
The site — http://www.ditf2011.com/ — will contain DITF news, photo gallery and video clips of companies and visitors, company profiles and online polling, according to a statement.
Geoplan Bangladesh will operate the website while NewsNet will assist in content management. The site will also be promoted through social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
An online media corner for press releases and offers by EPB and participating companies will be available on the website. Non-resident Bangladeshis will be able to watch the fair live through the site.
