Popular film cum TV actress Parvin Sultana Diti has left home for Canada yesterday. She is going there for three months to enjoy some sweet moments with her kids-Diptwa and Lamia, who are studying in Canada, during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.
Diti is scheduled to return home in November and till then she is determined to keep her aloof from all media related activities. She will just enjoy her kids’ accompany with a view to remove her loneliness in the country.
Before leaving home, Diti has completed her work for two films- “Purno Dhoirgo Prem Kahini” by Safi Uddin Safi and “Jonakir Alo” by Khalid Mahmud Mithu. On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, Channel i will telecast Diti directed telefilm “The End,” while Diti acted two TV plays will be aired on ATN Bangla and Maasranga Television.
While talking to the New Nation, Diti said, “It’s very tough for me to enjoy Eid without my children and that’s why I have decided to give myself a three-month vacation.” “I have worked hard for several plays and movies, but nobody paid my honorarium. Even I didn’t get my due payment. I am really hurt”, Diti expressed her agony before leaving for Canada.
