The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis on Monday rescheduled the eighth and ninth round matches of the Dhaka Premier League, deferring it at least for four days.
The eighth round matches will be held on May 24 and May 26 instead of May 20 and May 22. The schedule of ninth round matches also have been deferred from May 24 and 26 to May 28 and May 30.
Though the CCDM did not provide any reason for the changes it was leant that the Annual General Meeting of Umpires and Scorers Association and holy Shab-e-Barat prompted it to make the decision.
The ongoing seventh round matches will be completed on May 18.
Mohammedan Sporting Club and Prime Doleshwar are leading the table with 10 points from seven matches. Victoria Sporting Club can overtake the sides if they can beat Cricket Coaching School in their seventh round match on Wednesday.
