Dhaka University went into a 19-day vacation on Tuesday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Jumatul Wida, Shab-e-Qadr and Janmashtami.
The classes of all departments will remain closed from August 31 to September 16, official sources said.
During the vacation, both male and female dormitories will remain open, said university public relations officer Ashraf Ali Khan, adding that the academic and administrative offices of the university will reopen on September 18.
