The Japanese Sumitomo Corporation officials on Sunday called on the Dhaka University first year students of 2011-12 session asking them to apply for its scholarship.
The passed students of 2011 higher secondary and equivalent examinations could apply for the scholarship, said a press release. The regular students would get the application form from the scholarship section of the registrar building and they must submit the form on May 30 in 208 (Ka) room of the building.
Those students who could apply for the scholarship are required to have 4.80 grade point without the fourth subject in both secondary and higher secondary examinations.
The students should be Bangladeshi. Private University students are not allowed to apply for the scholarship.
