Different local TV channels have chalked out a weeklong array of special programmes to celebrate Eid festivity with the viewers.
The list includes teleplays, drama series and single episodes, films, musical shows, talk shows, magazine programmes and
others. Selected programmes of the first three days of some of the private channels are given below:
ATN Bangla
Bhul Thikanai Jatra
Five-episode drama series Bhul Thikanai Jatra, written and directed by Mohon Khan, will be aired on five consecutive days beginning on Eid day at 6.15pm. The plays show the transformation of a criminal. Sajal, Shahed, Rumana and others will be seen in the play.
Death of a Birthday
The single episode play Death of a Birthday will be aired on second day of Eid at 8.05pm. Written by Masum Reza and directed by Syed Aulad, the play depicts a teleplay director who suddenly declares that he will never make plays again. Tauqir Ahmed, Tarin and others are part of the cast.
Eid er Bajna Baaje Rey
Mazagine programme Eid er Bajna Baaje Rey, directed and hosted by Khandokar Islam, will be aired on 10.40pm. The progamme will feature music, dance and jokes.

Cox Bazar-e Kakatua
Seven-episode drama series for children Cox-Bazar-e Kakatua, written by Faridur Reza Sagor and directed by Afzal Hossain, will be aired at 6.10pm on Eid days. The thriller story depicts various adventures of a daredevil character named Chhotokaku. Afzal Hossain, Shams Sumon and others will be seen in the play.
Kajoler Din Ratri
Premier show of film Kajoler Din Ratri will be screened at 2.30pm on Eid day. Directed by Sajal Khalid who is also the screenplay writer, the film is an adaptation of noted writer Zafar Iqbal’s story with the same title. Tarin, Irish Zaker and others have acted in this children’s film.
Devdas
Sarat Chandra’s Devdas will be aired on the second day of Eid at 11.05pm. Directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam who has also written the screenplay, the film depicted the heart wrenching love triangle of Parvati, Devdas and Chandramukhi. Apu Biswas, Shahiduzzaman Selim and Moushumi have played the lead roles in the film.

Money Bag
Seven-episode drama series Moneybag, written and directed by Redwan Rony, will be aired on Eid days at 6.30pm. The play focuses on two corrupt friends who try to change themselves. Mosharraf Karim, Sumaiya Shimu and others have worked in the play.
Ekti Moddho Raater Galpo
Single episode play Ekti Maddho Raater Galpo will be aired on the second day of Eid at 8.10pm. The play, which has been written and directed by Pantho Shahriar and Naim Imtiaz Neyamul respectively, focuses on a common man who has a mysterious encounter with a film actress one day. Afzal Hossain and Aupi Karim have acted in the play.
Kabir Janno Ekjon Patrir Khoj Kora Hocche
Single episode play Kabir Janno Ekjon Patrir Khoj Kora Hocche will be aired at 8.10pm on the third day of Eid. Written by Fahim Ibne Sarwar and directed by Dipankar Dion, the play depicts a good for nothing poet who is looking for a girl to get married. Iresh Zaker, Bidya Sinha Mim and others have acted in the play.

Sikandar Box Ekhon Birat Model
Six-episode series play Sikandar Box Ekhon Birat Model will be aired on six consecutive days beginning on Eid day at 6.25pm. Written and directed by Sagor Jahan, the play depicts an ordinary couple with the husband and the wife both aiming to become models. Mosharraf Karim and Tania Ahmed have acted in the play.
Ekti Oporadh Bishoyok Kalpona
Single episode play Ekti Oporadh Bishoyok Kalpona will be aired at 2.10pm on the second day of Eid. An adaptation of Muhammad Zafar Iqbal’s story, the play has been adapted by Golam Rabbani and directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul. The play depicts five friends who confess the crimes they hav committed. Satabdi Wadud, Tisha, Jenny and others have acted in the play.
Dhup Chhaya Godhuli Bela
Single episode play Dhup Chhaya Godhuli Bela, written and directed by Sagar Jahan, will be telecasted on third day of Eid at 8.10pm. The play focuses on the love story of two university students. Anisur Rahman Milan and Aupi Karim have played the lead roles.

Bhut Shomachar
Telefilm Bhut Shomachar will be aired on ETV on the third day of Eid-ul-Fitr at 4.05pm. Written and directed by Anjan Aich, the tele-film has a plot revolving around a teacher Dr Kajol who is afraid of ghosts and suspects everyone to be a ghost. Subarna Mustafa, Bhabna, Sajal and Maniraj have enacted the main roles of the telefilm.
Gaan Majid
Special teleplay Gaan Majid will be aired on ETV on the third day of Eid at 7.20pm. Written and directed respectively by Brindaban Das and Dipu Hazra, the teleplay portrays a comical conflict between a tailor named Majid and a lady named Beauty. Chanchal Chowdhury, Shahnaz Khushi, Simana, Brindaban Das, Sanjana Afrin Mou and others have acted in the teleplay.
Amar Bou Sob Bujhe
ETV will air a single episode drama Amar Bou Sob Bujhe on the Eid day at 7.20pm. Written by ATM Shamsuzzaman and directed by Hasan Jahangir, the teleplay portrays a sequence of humorous scenes as the main character believes that somebody is follows him closely and talks to him. The teleplay stars ATM Shamsuzzaman, Sujata, Dr Enamul Haque, Swadhin Khasru and others.

Jatra Bhongo
Six episode drama series Jatra Bhongo will be aired on six consecutive days beginning on Eid day at 6.03pm. The play, written and directed by Shimul Sarkar, depicts the struggles of jatra artistes. Fazlul Rahman Babu, Saju Khadem and others have acted in the play.
Ukil Jamai
Single episode play Ukil Jamai will be aired on the second day of Eid at 7.10pm. Written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal and directed by Shamim Zaman, the play depicts comical activities of a lawyer groom. Zahid Hasan, Prasun will be seen among other actors in the play.
Ar Jabona America
Telefilm Ar jabona America will be aired on the third day of Eid at 12.10pm. Written by Mirja Rakib and directed by Kajal Bardhan, the social drama casts Mir Sabbir, Richi Solaiman and others.

Bhoot Gulo Dakat Holo
Single episode play Bhoot Gulo Dakat Holo will be aired on Eid day at 7.45pm. Written by Litu Sakhawat and directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim, the comedy depicts a couple who faces threats from robbers after settling into a new home. Shahiduzzamn Selim, Ishita and others have acted in the play.

Drama series Baghbandi will be aired on Desh Tv starting on Eid day at 9:00p.m. Written by Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury and directed by Redwan Roby, the play unravels a contract killer who plays mind games with his victims before killing them. Film Chorabali will be screened on the second day of Eid at 9.40pm. Directed by Redwan Rony, the action film casts Indranil, Joya Ahsan and Shahiduzzaman Selim.

Puppet shows with different titles directed by Mostafa Manowar will be aired on five consecutive days beginning on Eid day at 9.40pm.

Kabitar Nari Okabitar Nari
Telefilm Kabitar Nari Okabitar Nari, written by Syed Zia Uddin and directed by Golam Moktadir Sun, will be aired on Eid day at 2.35pm. The telefilm focuses on a lonely clerk who imagines the female characters of poems as his companions. Tauqir Ahmed, Swarna and others will be seen in the play.
The Great Mama Center
Drama series The Great Mama Center will be aired on Eid day at 7.35pm. Written by Syed Zia Uddin Zia and directed by Rezwan Alam Hira, the play depicts the life of three bachelor scientists. Shahiduzzaman Selim, Azizul Hakim, Farah Rumah and others have acted in the play.

The telefilm will be aired on the second day of Eid at 3:00pm. Written by Saiful Islam Mannu and directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, the telefilm reveals the love story of a painter and a disabled woman. Mahfuz Ahmed, Tarin and others have played the lead roles in the play.
Sangri La
Seven episode drama series Sangrila will be aired for a week beginning on Eid day at 10.30pm. Written by Tauqir Ahmed and directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim, the play reveals seven tourists who embarked on journey to Sangri La, a holy place in Nepal. The ensemble cast includes Tauqir Ahmed, Zahid Hasan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Mahfuz Ahmed, Azizul Hakim among others.
